Your Journey to a Stunning Smile

Wondering what will happen during your Greer or Simpsonville Invisalign treatment? We’ll give you a step-by-step breakdown of the under-the-radar, smile-perfecting process. To start your Invisalign treatment, call us at (864) 801-3500 and schedule your free consultation.

1

Consultation with Our Doctors

Like any orthodontic treatment, your new smile kicks off with a complimentary consultation. A member of the Davis Orthodontics team will take digital x-rays and photos of your teeth and face. Then, our Doctors will examine you and develop a diagnosis. They are all Diamond Invisalign Providers, which means they have the knowledge and experience to achieve stunning outcomes using the clear aligners, even in more complex cases. They will tell you exactly what you can expect and we’ll chat about the length of treatment, how much it will cost, insurance and answer your questions.
2

Create a 3D Image of Your Mouth

Our Doctors will use their iTero® scanner to comfortably take high-resolution images of your teeth, jaws and gums. No more goopy, messy molds here! The information will go into our computer program and a 3D model of your mouth will be created. They will then move each and every individual tooth directly on the screen for superior accuracy and send this prescription to Invisalign.
3

Pick Up Your Custom Aligners

Invisalign will use our Doctors' specifications to create a series of clear, plastic, removable aligners that are custom made just for you. You’ll come by the office to pick them up. Wear your aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day, taking them out to eat, brush your teeth and floss. The number of aligners varies by patient but most people require between 18 and 30.
4

Wear New Aligners According to Your Schedule

About every one to two weeks, you’ll pop in a new set of aligners and each time you do, your teeth will move a little closer to their final positions. We don’t need to do adjustments but you’ll come by for a quick progress check every six to eight weeks on average.
5

Show Off Your New Smile

Once you take out that last set of aligners, you’ll have a gorgeous, healthy new smile! To maintain your results for life, we’ll fit you for a custom retainer that you’ll wear according to our Doctors' instructions.
