Meet Dr. Buddy
Dr. Buddy is a certified specialist in orthodontics with extensive training in the most cutting-edge, proven orthodontic treatments. In fact, he even teaches aspiring orthodontists as an assistant professor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He created Davis Orthodontics in Greer and Simpsonville, SC to help change the lives of his patients by transforming their smiles. He’s dedicated to offering top-notch, high-tech care in a friendly, open atmosphere, while also giving back to the community he calls home.

Stacy and Buddy are amazing. This is a very good practice.Stacy greeted me by my first name every time and felt like I was welcomed home. She’s so nice and simply a lovely person and professional. Dr. Buddy was also incredibly kind and was personable which is really nice. A lot of docs are cold and just there because they have to be, I always felt like he wanted to be there which made me more comfortable. Those two stood out the most to me but everyone else was also very kind as well.The facility is clean and bright and they’re always prompt and on time. I can’t remember anyone scheduling me into an awkward time or anything.I wore braces for over a year and that’s exactly how long they said I would from day 1. They always tightened or fixed any issue, but to be honest, I just followed their guidelines and that’s why this worked. Brushed, flossed, and mouth-washed faithfully and stayed away from the foods I was supposed to stay away from. The braces did the rest and I am very happy with the results.I am thrilled with the experience and highly recommend this practice without reservation.

I only consulted with this office for a retainer adjustment and my teeth are now in worse condition as I came in due to the retainer adjustments the doctors here made, plus, ruined my retainer. I explicitly explained my situation numerous times. Numerous of the nurses there just seem like they’re confused and have no knowledge whatsoever. Now I must pay extra to get my teeth fixed by another orthodontist for this mess. Very disappointed for something that should have been such an easy fix. It’s not like I was getting braces or Invisalign.

I had an appointment on Wednesday, 1/6, at 9:40am. I needed to get a bottom retainer. They told me over the phone that they used a machine to scan your mouth for the retainer. I checked in at the front desk. They called me to the back to start the process. I sat down in the seat. The assistant told me that the machine wasn’t working. She called tech support (while she was right next to me). She told Dr. Davis that tech support rep told her that it would take 24 hours to update the machine so that they could use the scan for the retainer. By this time, it is 11am and I’m still waiting in the seat. *** Note that I used my sick times at work in order to come to this appointment. Dr. Davis apologized for the delay. 11:15am the assistant came over and told me that they can’t get the machine to work. She told me I can come back at 4:30pm. I told her that I couldn’t come back because i took time off of work to come to this 9:40am appointment. I told her i wanted a refund because they already charged me 220 for the bottom retainer. She told me to go to the front desk and they will refund me. The lady at the desk took my card for the refund and gave me a receipt. I left the office feeling upset because i wasted my time and i still don’t have a bottom retainer. I checked my bank account and noticed the front desk lady charged 220 twice on my account. I drove back to the office to notify her. She said that she told me that she charged me twice on accident (which she didn’t) she said they refunded the 440 back to my account. So not only did i waste 2-3 hours of my time. I don’t have a bottom retainer and i had to use sick time from my job that i can’t get back!! And i was billed 440 in error. I had to wait 2 days for the refund to post on my account. Do not go to this orthodontist!!! They are incompetent and inconsiderate!!!! Bad customer service!!!!!!

Just want to say we've had a FANTASTIC experience switching to Dr. Buddy ortho. WE had a very bad experience at another local ortho with care during our son's experience having braces. We switched to Dr. Buddy and they were very compassionate and met and exceeded everything from customer care, communication, results, and financial matters. Very grateful for their kindness and great work.

Very professional staff. Always prompt. Have helped us for years tracking my son’s progress before being ready for braces. They done xrays and consults and referrals...all before we made any investment in ortho. Highly recommend.

The people who work here are phenomenal people. Supper friendly, everyone who walks through those doors are treated like family. My son had the best experience with his braces, they were with us through all the ups and downs both with his braces and in his life. Truly a heart warming experience. I look forward to my appointments every time! The team always welcomes me with a smile and are super patient with my kids AND they are accommodating when I need a last minute appointment for a pokey wire. Not to mentioned they’re affordable. I highly recommend Dr Buddy to others looking for an orthodontist. You WON’T be disappointed!Update: Extremely disappointed. After three years, I still have braces when I was given and estimated two years. This is after having braces for seven years as a child. Over a decade in braces is unacceptable. I’ve seen people with worse teeth be done in two years. I have to pry and dig to get information that should just be given to you as part of updates at appointments. I wanna know what’s being done to my body. Majority of the time when family/friends ask what’s going on with my mouth or when are my braces coming off, I have no response because I don’t know. I never know. And I’m super mad. This is ridiculous.

They made what could have been a challenging out-of-state transfer seamless. Every person we interacted with treated us as though we were old friends. On top of that, the cost is affordable for our family. We love this place already and I plan on bringing my other kiddos here when they're due for braces.

Friendly staff with beautiful facilities and the latest technology. My son is VERY hesitate to have any work done on his teeth. Dr Buddy and staff make him feel very calm and comfortable.

We love Dr. Buddy and his staff so much, we drive nearly an hour for each visit, one way. The office is beautiful and always clean. The staff are friendly and go above and beyond to make patients comfortable. Dr. Buddy is extremely good at what he does and makes my children enjoy every visit. Would recommend no other!
